We provide homecare and home health services to clients and families of all ages, whether in a private residence or a facility.
Our team of Nurses (RNs and RPNs), Personal Support Workers (PSWs), and Resident Care Aides (RCA) are ready to provide the care that fits and promotes your lifestyle. Whatever your needs are, we’re here to help.
Our staff are professionally licensed, thoroughly screened and vetted, and protected by professional liability insurance. They are reliable, compassionate, kind, and will treat you with respect and dignity.
We offer full-time, part-time, and occasional care services. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – including weekends and holidays.
For private residences, please note that a minimum of 4 hours of service is required for each visit, and that overnight care visits must be booked well in advance.
RNs (Registered Nurses) and RPNs (Registered Practical Nurses) complete the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clients’ medical services. They deliver standard nursing procedures, administer medication and overseer the client’s healthcare team.
Personal Support Workers (PSWs) assist clients to live safely and independently, as permitted by their health condition. They help with all aspects of personal care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding. They organize leisure activities for the client, provide meaningful companionship, and assist in satisfying the social and emotional needs of the client.
Lifestyle Support/Home Helper
Resident Care Aides (RCAs) provide emotional support and non-medical services that improve the life of the client, and assist them to live safely and independently, as permitted by their health condition. They support the client with all aspects of personal care, meal prep, cleaning and housekeeping, pet care, etc. and accompany them to appointments as needed.
Mental Health Support
Health is not complete without mental health. That is why at Aegis Care, our we aim is to provide clients with access to the ability to experience mental and emotional health, as well as physical health.
Our mental health support services are offered by a Master’s trained Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Mental Health Educator with over 15years of experience in the industry. Support sessions will utilize various modalities, coaching techniques, and tools to help clients and family caregivers to:
- Become aware of stressors and their effects on mental health
- Learn skills to manage their emotions to drive helpful decision-making
- Develop the courage needed to respond to life’s circumstances
- Navigate health resources to support mental well-being
Foot Care Services
Footcare services are provided by a trained and certified Advanced Footcare Nurse (AFCN), who specializes in observing and assessing the status of feet; identifying and describing nail and skin pathology, bone structure changes, and high-risk factors; providing appropriate teaching and management of foot conditions; referring clients for further support when necessary; and contributing overall to client education regarding foot health and appropriate footwear. Basic fingernail care, callus and corn buffing, ingrown nail care, fungus, and diabetes education can also be addressed.
